Brooke Biermann, hailing from Wildwood, Missouri, has swiftly ascended the ranks in women's golf, transitioning from a standout amateur to a promising professional.
During her junior career, Biermann achieved a remarkable ranking of seventh in the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), showcasing her early talent and dedication to the sport.
At Michigan State University, she left an indelible mark, recording a career scoring average of 72.96—the third-best in the university's history. Her consistent performance earned her an All-Big Ten First Team selection and an honorable mention as an All-American by both the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) and Golfweek in 2025.
In 2024, Biermann clinched the title at the 94th Missouri Women's Amateur Championship at Hickory Hills Country Club, finishing with a 5-under-par 211. This victory secured her a spot in the U.S. Women's Amateur at Southern Hills Country Club.
Her journey continued at the 2025 U.S. Women's Open at Erin Hills, where she made her debut after earning medalist honors at the Belleville, Illinois qualifier. Although she missed the cut with scores of 80 and 72, the experience was invaluable for her burgeoning career.
In August 2025, Biermann's resilience shone at the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship at Bandon Dunes. As the No. 41 seed, she advanced to the finals, overcoming higher-seeded opponents and demonstrating her competitive spirit.
Family support has been a cornerstone of Biermann's journey. Her father, Bill, has caddied for her in significant tournaments, including the 2023 LPGA Meijer Classic and the 2025 U.S. Women's Amateur. Additionally, her sister, Ashleigh, who has Jacobsen Syndrome, serves as a profound inspiration and unwavering supporter.
As Biermann embarks on her professional career, her blend of talent, determination, and familial support positions her as a formidable presence in the world of women's golf. |
